Resolutions

This post is inspired by:

“If you asked me for my New Year Resolution, it would be to find out who I am”.

Hello, and Happy New Year! Once again, I apologize for not writing much. It’s been tough trying to determine what I want to say to a bunch of strangers who will eventually read this (or maybe not); or what I want to read when I eventually re-read my blog. So 2013 is over. That is truly hard to believe. This past year was strictly okay, but I most certainly learned a lot about myself.

As we’re already 2 days into 2014 it’s nice to think about what this future year will bring, how it will compare to past years, and whether a year from now will I be saying that 2014 was the best year ever? Only time will tell I suppose.

While I would love to say that I have a list of resolutions for myself, and what I want this year to bring, I can’t say too much about that. I’ve decided that this year I will pick up some things I have left to the side. For example, I hope to write in my blog more, giving my readers (for those of you who read this) an interesting read. Other things that are on my mental list are picking up photography again. I stopped for a long time, and could never really get back into it. I hope this year I find out what made me fell in love with photography. I also plan to read more, starting with some of my favorites: Of Mice and Men, and Tuesdays with Morrie.

Also as a side note, I’m re-doing my room. Could not be more excited about that. But actually, not kidding.

What are you planning on doing for New Year? Do you start new habits, or rekindle old ones?
