This post is inspired by:
“Stress is the trash of modern life — we all generate it but if you don’t dispose of it properly,
it will pile up and overtake your life”.
It’s here. Hell week, the last week before spring break, and midterm week for some. This is going to be a shorter post, so sorry about that. As a college student, stress is a common thing, either we rise above it, or let it kill us. This test is proven during this week, and finals week at the end of the semester. Here is the most important thing I can say from experience:
You can’t let the stress of this week, or any other week keep you from moving forward. You have to keep moving.
To make this a sure thing, plan a time during the day where you do absolutely nothing, or something you love. For me, this is either going to the gym to shoot around, or simply listening to music. Break the day up by doing rewarding yourself, but never keep moving. Like I said, this is a super short post, but take a look at my favorite quote of all time, an African proverb, and let it sink in.
Best of luck this week!
Every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in Africa, a Lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle or it will starve to death.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a Lion or a Gazelle,
when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.
